Right. A very good start.
As per me, the past is like a reference book. While the book has invaluable information, reading the book is not a use as such.

Treading a new path might not lead you anywhere, but atleast, the path is available for the future to pursue and resume where you leave.

Coming to Egyptians, I believe they have got invaluable mystical information. The Egyptian pyramids are known to have so much secret hidden in them.

My suggestion – try creating a future that might inspire, taking the past as the reference. Find out what change you would like to bring to this world, whether unearthing some information/discovery/invention which you believe will inspire people or bringing about change in the lives of people.
